What Is Ridinkulous?
- Ridinkulous is the ridiculous state of being that happens when you are a DINK (Dual Income No Kids).
- It’s more ridiculous than ridiculous, but it’s less ridiculous than ridonkulous.
- It’s the act of making a blog that you ridiculously believe someone will actually read.
- It’s probably mostly personal finance advice with a touch of the absurd.
- It’s the sound of a child laughing, of wind blowing through a windchime, and of 12 pretty prancing ponies trotting through a rainbow forest.
- It’s that awkward moment when you realize the bratwurst you’re eating is made out of pony meat.
- It’s looking down on those flying coach, not because you’re rich, but because you used frequent flyer miles to sit in first class for free.
- It’s that footage of Al Bundy dancing to a Major Lazer song.
- It’s investment funds that charge you any more than, like, a few tenths of a percent.
- It’s riding a bicycle that’s older than you are to work each day.
It’s not really all of those things, but maybe most of them? The fact is that Ridinkulous is a name I liked, and now it’s the name of this website.
This blog is probably going to be mostly personal finance advice, pictures of food, pictures of dogs, DIY projects, and analysis with lots of helpful charts and graphs to show you how to save and spend your money more awesomely.
